SCOTLAND MEN U19 QUALIFY FOR WORLD CUP

Scotland Men's Under 19s booked their place at the 2026 ICC U19 Men's Cricket World Cup in Namibia and Zimbabwe with a nail biting win over the Netherlands.
Scotland and the Netherlands both entered the game with 100% records, vying for one spot at next year's World Cup - and it was Scotland who emerged victorious, defeating the Netherlands by 20 runs.

Scotland set the Dutch 238 to win - Olly Pillinger hitting 52, whilst Ethan Ramsay (46) and Max Chaplin (42) also made important contributions.
The Netherlands were always in touch in the chase, despite a tricky start - Finlay Jones striking twice in two balls to remove Cedric de Lange (4) and Shirsak Banerjee.
The recovery, led by Tom de Leede who struck a fine 67, saw the chasing side look in control at 173-5 - but Scotland fought back, and Finlay Jones took (4-41) the final wicket as Alejo Nota edged to Thomas Knight behind the stumps with the Netherlands 20 runs short.
