JONES LEADS SCOTLAND TO T20 SERIES VICTORY OVER NAMIBIA

An inspired spell of bowling from Mackenzie Jones helped Scotland defeat Namibia by 19 runs in the second T20 international and secure a series win in Windhoek.

Batting first, Scotland made 157-8 with contributions throughout the middle order. Jack Jarvis top scored with a brutal unbeaten 32 from 18 balls, supported by Brandon McMullen (27) and Owen Gould (24) on debut.

In reply, Namibia captain Gerhard Erasmus hit 47 as his side threatened to overhaul the Scots target, but Jones (4-22) was supported by a tight four-over spell from Oli Davidson (1-14) and some excellent fielding to derail the hosts' efforts.

The third and final match of the series takes place on Saturday, with a start time of 1300 UK.
