Wicketz
Wicketz is a community cricket programme aimed at young people from underserved communities aged 8-19, providing them with a safe space to play cricket and learn life skills.
By establishing these community cricket hubs, Cricket Scotland provides completely free year-round weekly cricket sessions with a focus on breaking down barriers. We also run specially designed workshops at these hubs to boost well-being, social education, community awareness, promote positive life choices and develop new skills.
Our two dedicated Wicketz development officers ensure the projects are sustainable and work with local partners to achieve the above objectives.
