KATHRYN BRYCE SIGNS FOR HOBART HURRICANES

Scotland Women's Captain Kathryn Bryce has been signed by the Hobart Hurricanes for the upcoming edition of the Women's Big Bash League.
In a first for the Hobart Hurricanes, the ‘Canes are utilising the WBBL Associate Player rule to welcome Bryce to their squad for WBBL|10.
Under the rule, WBBL squads can sign one player outside of their allocated squad from any of the ICC Associate Members.
The Scotland skipper joins international teammate Saskia Horley, who will be playing for the Sydney Thunder, in the competition.
Bryce said: “I am so excited to be heading to Australia to play for the Hurricanes in the WBBL.
"The last 12 months have been such a terrific experience for me playing some of my best cricket and I am really keen to extend that form into such a wonderful tournament like the WBBL.
"I am grateful to everyone at my domestic team in the UK and to Cricket Scotland for their continued support in my development."
Hobart Hurricanes Head Coach Jude Coleman added: “We are excited to see Kathryn Bryce join us as an Associate Player, after spending the last two summers in Hobart training with the Tigers and Hurricanes squads.
“Brycey’s all-round ability is a massive addition to our squad, and we look forward to seeing her in her first WBBL appearance.”
Hobart’s first game of WBBL|10 is against the Sydney Thunder at Bellerive Oval on 28 October.
