QUAD CUP PREPARES SCOTS FOR EMERGING NATIONS TROPHY

Scotland Women will compete in a T20 International Quadrangular Series in Thailand in preparation for this month's ICC Emerging Nations Trophy.
The Quad Cup sees Scotland play three T20i matches - against Papua New Guinea, Thailand and Namibia - in Bangkok between 14-17 November, as the four teams gear up for the ICC inaugural Emerging Nations Trophy, which features the leading women's Associate Nations.
Craig Wallace, Scotland Women's Head Coach, said:
"This is hugely important for us ahead of the Emerging Nations Trophy, as we haven't played cricket as a group for a long time, so it's a really good opportunity for us to work on how we want to be playing leading into that competition.
"There's not much opportunity for training with the schedule for the Emerging Nations Trophy the way it is, so this is going to be important for us to get used to the conditions in Thailand, and work on our game ahead of an exciting couple of weeks."
