SCOTS FRUSTRATED BY WEATHER ONCE AGAIN

Scotland's men once again faced a false start to open a Cricket World Cup League 2 series, as their opening fixture against Oman in Windhoek was abandoned without a ball being bowled.

Despite the sun shining all day at the FNB Namibia Cricket Ground, heavy rain in previous days had rendered the outfield unplayable - and after a lengthy delay, play was officially abandoned shortly after 2pm local time.

Scotland will try again on Monday 6 April when they face hosts Namibia at the same venue.
