MAISIE MACEIRA AND NAYMA SHEIKH REPRESENT ICC EUROPE AT LORD'S

Scotland's Maisie Maceira and Nayma Sheikh both represented an ICC Europe U23 XI against the MCC at Lord's and Wormsley.

Nayma Sheikh said: "Representing the ICC European XI was an incredibly special experience and a real honour, and playing at iconic venues such as Lord’s and Wormsley against the MCC made it even more memorable.

"A personal highlight was opening the bowling as a leg-spinner at Lord’s, an opportunity I hadn’t had before, and one I’ll never forget.

"Across the two days, I really enjoyed contributing with the ball and creating chances, which felt like a strong start to the season.

"Off the field, it was just as rewarding to connect with players from across Europe, build new friendships and learn from each other’s experiences. The support from the coaching staff throughout was fantastic and made the whole experience even more enjoyable."
