EMMA HALLIWELL ADDED TO SCOTLAND SQUAD FOR NETHERLANDS ODIs

Left-arm spinner Emma Halliwell has received her first Scotland call-up for our upcoming ODI series against the Netherlands.

Nayma Sheikh is set to miss the opening two games of the series having sustained a hamstring injury, with Halliwell added to the squad as cover for the whole series.

The 22-year-old Halliwell took remarkable figures of 6-4 last week in the Women's Regional Super Series, and also represented Scotland 'A' against a Durham Academy side earlier this summer, returning figures of 1-21 and 2-40 with the ball.

Scotland open their ODI series against the Netherlands at Clydesdale CC in Glasgow on Friday 28 August, with entry free for all spectators.
