SARAH BRYCE JOINS SYDNEY SIXERS FOR WBBL

Scotland’s Sarah Bryce has been signed by the Sydney Sixers for WBBL|10, joining her sister, Kathryn, in the upcoming edition of the competition.
Under the league’s Associate Player rule, each club has the opportunity to sign one associate for the upcoming season, with the signing supported by the players’ home board and the ICC.
The associate player sits outside of the club’s main playing squad but can be to be added as a replacement player and played as a fourth international in a side’s starting XI.
The Scotland wicket-keeper joins sister Kathryn, who was signed by the Hobart Hurricanes under the same rule, and Saskia Horley (Sydney Thunder) in this year’s WBBL.
Rachael Haynes, Sixers General Manager, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Sarah into our group for the season ahead. She provides us with another strong option at the top of the order, as well as behind the stumps.
“She’s played a huge amount of cricket around the world for a 24-year-old and is a really experienced leader within the Scottish side.
“We’re really looking forward to welcoming Sarah and we can’t wait to get started on Sunday in Adelaide.”
The Sixers will officially kick off their WBBL|10 season in Adelaide on Sunday, facing the Melbourne Renegades.
All of the action from WBBL|10 will be available to watch live on Sky Sports in the UK.
