SCOTTISH REPRESENTATION IN WESTON SHIELD AND MELTL SHIELD

Five Scotland players will be involved across the European Cricket Network's Weston Shield (Men) and Meltl Shield (Women) next month.

Brad Currie, Olly Davidson and Jack Jarvis will feature for the British and Irish XI in the Weston Shield, whilst Megan McColl and Niamh Muir have been named in the British and Irish XI squad for the Meltl Shield.

Both events, taking place at the Cartama Oval, Spain, see teams representing Asia, Europe, Great Britain & Ireland, and the World in the T10 format.

Davidson, alongside Mackenzie Jones, featured in the previous edition of the Weston Shield in February, helping the British and Irish XI to the title, as they defeated the European XI in the final.

The Meltl Shield will take place from 15 - 21 September, and the Weston Shield from 18 - 24 September.
