NEW CHANCE TO SHINE STREET CLUBS LAUNCH IN EDINBURGH AND PAISLEY

Cricket Scotland, is pleased to confirm the opening of two new Street Cricket Clubs in Craigmillar (Edinburgh) and Paisley, commencing this week.
The Craigmillar Street Club, which will be based at Castlebrae Community Campus, starts on Thursday 20 November, running from 15:30 - 17:00, whilst the Paisley Street Club, based at Paisley Grammar School, launches on Wednesday 19 November, from 16:30 - 17:30.

Sriram Muramalla, Cricket Scotland Community Engagement Manager, said:
"We are excited to launch two new Street Cricket Clubs in Paisley and Craigmillar for young people aged 8 to 14 years. Delivered in partnership with Chance to Shine, these clubs are part of our long-term strategy to unite people and communities through cricket by creating safe, welcoming, and inclusive spaces.
"Street Cricket Clubs are completely free of cost to attend and run all year round. Their aim is to introduce cricket and valuable life skills to young people while providing playing opportunities in underserved communities.
"We are committed to establishing Street Cricket Clubs in every major city across Scotland, with a clear focus on removing barriers to participation and ensuring the game is open to all."
