SCOTLAND MEN’S ‘A’ PREPARE TO TAKE ON DENMARK AND JERSEY
Two Scotland Men’s ‘A’ squads have been named for fixtures against Denmark and Jersey later this month.
Denmark are the opponents for fixtures at Stirling and Dunfermline on 19 and 20 August, while Jersey are the visitors to Uddingston for two fixtures on 25 and 26 August.
Steve Snell, Cricket Scotland Head of Performance, said:
“These fixtures are another excellent opportunity for players to gain experience within the high-performance environment. We’ve been impressed at the levels shown within the A squads this season and look forward to seeing the players involved over the next couple of weeks keep improving and stake their claims.
“We’re also pleased to welcome back Denmark, who visited us last year, and renew acquaintances with Jersey, who we visited in the spring. It is hugely important for Cricket Scotland to support the wider cause of European cricket and we are delighted to be playing fixtures against two sides that are consistently looking to improve and make an impact on the international stage.”
