CRICKET SCOTLAND LAUNCH COACH MENTORING PROGRAMME

Cricket Scotland is pleased to confirm the launch of its Coach Mentoring Programme, furthering our support for aspiring, enthusiastic and curious coaches who have been through the Cricket Scotland Coach Education courses.

The free, 12-month programme will see coaches supported, mentored, challenged and stretched to aid their continued development and confidence as a coach within the Scottish cricket system.

Gordon Drummond, Cricket Scotland Coach Development Lead, said:

"We're delighted to launch the first year of our Coach Mentoring Programme, furthering our investment in the continued development of coaches in Scotland.

"Candidates on the programme will be provided with bespoke, tailored coach development support by a Cricket Scotland Mentor, creating the opportunity for coaches with a mindset to improve continually to further develop themselves.

"It is crucial that our programmes re-engage current coaches in learning and development, offering a range of hybrid learning coach development options and more clearly defined guidance for coaches working in different environments."

Applications for the Coach Mentoring Programme are open until Monday 23 November, and you can find out more about the programme and how to apply here.
