DARCEY CARTER AND KATHERINE FRASER SELECTED AS HUNDRED WILDCARD PICKS

Scotland's Darcey Carter and Katherine Fraser have both been selected as Wildcard picks in this year's The Hundred.

Carter will join her international captain, Kathryn Bryce, at the Manchester Originals, whilst Fraser has been selected by the Northern Superchargers.

Both have impressed as members of a successful Scotland Women's team over the last 18 months, featuring in their nation's first-ever Women's World Cup appearance, as well as in domestic cricket for their respective counties.

They join fellow Scots Kathryn Bryce (Manchester Originals), Sarah Bryce (Welsh Fire), Scott Currie (Manchester Originals), Ailsa Lister (Birmingham Phoenix), and Rachel Slater (Oval Invincibles) in the fifth edition of the franchise competition which gets underway on 5 August.
